This paper has three parts: Part I analyses independence from an international, economic and historical perspective; Part II examines other relevant issues that flow from examining the topic, and Part III sums up the discussion and reaches certain conclusions. This paper is not intended to cover all aspects of the subject and opinions expressed here are personal. I have tried to use a different perspective from most discussions I have heard and seen on the subject of Bermuda’s independence to date. Download PDF
This Position Paper is submitted by the United Bermuda Party to the Bermuda Independence Commission (“BIC”) for consideration when preparing its report on Independence. Download PDF
